HighJackers and four headlights in a TAUNUS II?? Michael did it... |
In the mean time this TAUNUS has died oxidating... |
Now, Michael changed to this TAUNUS 2.8 GL automatic, and is living in Berlin. |
Of course he has built the 2.8i engine, the power steering and the HighJackers into this Limousine. |
This beautiful GRANADA belonged to this (crazy) FORD fan, too. Contact: Michael |
Gerhard got this really well preserved TAUNUS 1.6 GL from his grandfather. |
Although the TAUNUS was registrated in 2/77 for the first time, he passed the German TÜV without any complaints (this is what I'm dreaming of sometimes, too...). |
The car has less than 80.000 km and a beautiful venyle roof, too. Contact: Gerhard Lindenstruth |
József from Hungary wants to restaurate this TAUNUS I 1.6 from 1974, although it looks like new. Contact: Kovács József |
FORD (Collogne) and the Italian bodywork company OSI (Turin) introduced the OSI 20M TS in 1967, which was built onto the base of a 20M. |
Ton from Holland owns a 2.3 l version of those rare vintage cars. If you can help him getting spare parts or any information, email him, because he wants to restaurate the car. Contact: Ton Bons |
Robert from Chemnitz found this great TAUNUS II 2.3 V6 from a car sales in Kassel. This car is in perfect condition (perhaps besides from the wheels?) and has even a katalysator. Contact: Robert |
This TAUNUS 12M from 1967 is to be sold unnecessarily! It belongs to Martin from Bulgary and is admittedly not restaurated, but almost new. Contact: Martin Stavrev |
Victor from Trinidad and Tobago (!) drives this 1969 Ford Cortina 2000 GXL Mk III, which is the English version of the German Ford TAUNUS I with some differences. |
This English Ford is a RS 2000 sports version. Contact: Victor Kennedy |
A 1957 Ford TAUNUS 17M P2 as a DRAG RACER? George had it. The body was found in a junk yard in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and was built into a Dragster. |
Before George bought the Dragster it had an Oldsmobile engine, a 301 cubic inch Chevy engine and then a six cylinders Chevy engine. George installed a 427 cubic inch Chevy Motor, which produced over 500 HP. |
With this, the TAUNUS Drag Car drove over 134 miles/h (Unfortunately I don't know how many times George won his races with it). Although you don't find many original things on the car, you will notice the TAUNUS... |
George calls the comparison between orginal and drag version "lion and mouse", which is quite true, becuase the original car had 60HP and drove 125 km/h. Contact: George Carroll |
